A greener kind of car use
Streetcar is rightly proud of the enormous contribution our members make to the
urban environment in the UK.
Every Streetcar takes an average of 26 privately owned cars off the roads. This is
because our members often sell (or don't replace) a car when they join. This means
we've already taken over 30,000 cars off the UK's streets.
What's more, Streetcar has found that members choose to drive 71% less after joining Streetcar,
adopting a more integrated transport model by choosing the most appropriate means for each journey.
This means that, to date, the company has saved more than 100,000 tonnes of CO2 through reduced driving alone.
