Parking Tickets
If you get a parking ticket during a booking, we recommend you take advantage of the reduced rate offered by most parking authorities by paying the ticket yourself within 14 days. If we receive notification for parking tickets, clamping fines, bus lane fines, compound charges, etc. we will either pay them and add the cost along with a processing fee to your monthly bill, or transfer liability to you making you wholly responsible for the charge.

Speeding Fines
You are responsible for any speeding tickets received during you booking. If we receive a ticket for you, we will pass your details on to the authority that issued the ticket and they will contact you directly.

Using Your Mobile Phone
Please use a hands free kit for phone calls during driving. You can also receive calls on the car's phone system. Please contact Streetcar on 0845 644 8475 if you would like to know your car's phone number.

Smoking
Am I allowed to smoke in the car?
No. Out of consideration for subsequent users, we don't allow this. If you or a
passenger do smoke in the car, a £25 fine will be added to your bill.

Pets
Can I carry pets in the car?
Unfortunately not. At Streetcar we love animals, but because they can make the cars dirty for the next member, we don't allow pets of any sort in the cars.

Breakdowns
What do I do if the car breaks down?
Report it to us as soon as possible and contact the Volkswagen Breakdown Service
from the number on the back of the tax disc. There will be no charge for this.
Will I still be able to get where I'm going if the car breaks down?
We will always do anything we can to get you to your destination.
Can I jump-start the car?
No. Please don't jump-start a Streetcar or use it to jump-start another car, as it will damage the vehicle's sensitive electronics.

Car Accessories
Can I choose between manual and automatic?
Yes.
Can I use a child seat?
Yes. We don't offer our own child seats because people's needs for these vary so
much, but you are very welcome to use your own.
Can I attach a roof rack or bike rack?
Yes, we just ask that you give us a call before attaching it, to make sure it's compatible with the car.
