What's new in version 2.1?

How do I search?
Enter your postcode or location details into the search bar and the app will display all your nearest cars and
vans.
What happens when I find a car?
Highlight the car by tapping on the location pin - the app then displays the vehicle make and model (or the
number of vehicles at that location). Tapping the arrow takes you to the vehicle information screen
What's on the vehicle information screen?
- Information about where to find the car and how to access it
- Photos of the location
- Vehicle profile (name, make, model, fuel type and registration number)
How do I book a car?
The book tab allows you to browse by day or car, and see availability for selected cars. Tap the selected
location to book, and choose your start and end times.
How do I make a multi-day booking?
Use the search menu to enter the date and times that you need the car. Available cars will appear on the map screen as blue icons, and unavailable cars will appear as grey icons. Tapping on the car in either the map or list views will take you to the booking confirmation screen.
Can I open the car with my iPhone?
Yes! Just walk up to the car and swipe to unlock.
Can I use the app if I'm not a member?
Yes, you can still find your nearest cars by postcode or location. You do need to be a member to book a car,
though.
Why am I asked to enter my Member Number and PIN every time?
If you've just installed the app, you may need to restart your iPhone before it remembers your details.
What if I lend my phone to someone; won't they be able to book cars on my account?
If you need to log out you can do so from the My Streetcar tab.
I am not a member of the UK app store. How can I download the app?
We are working on an update to make the app available internationally. Watch this space...
