More than 20 London councils are currently working closely with Streetcar in order to reduce congestion and carbon emissions, and provide around 400 of Streetcar's 1,000 London vehicle bays. The Department of Transport recommends car clubs as they reduce parking and traffic congestion, pollution and noise levels and provide a sustainable alternative for urban transport.
