It costs just £59.50 to join Streetcar for 1 year, or £99 to join for 2 years (saving 17%). Membership includes:
- A Streetcar smartcard
- Fully comprehensive insurance
- A highly-trained support team available 365 days a year
- 24/7/365 breakdown and recovery service
- Streetvan membership for free
Fuel
Unlimited free fuel on longer trips from July 1st 2009
*30 miles free per day, then 23p per mile*
To get you going we include 30 miles of free fuel for every day your booking touches. After that, mileage plus fuel is charged at 23p per mile. Because you only pay for the miles you use, you can fill up your Streetcar whenever you want with the fuel card provided. At the end of your trip the vehicle's computer will let us know how far you've been.
One-way trips
£24.50 within our coverage area
Streetcar is the only car-club which let's you pick-up a car in one place and leave it somewhere else.
For an additional charge of £24.50 you drop-off your Streetcar anywhere with a coverage zone (approximately TFL Zones 1 and 2)
provided it is parked safely and legally for at least 1 hour after your booking. Click here for more information.
Reducing your insurance excess

Low excess from £3.95 per month
Like most car insurance, ours has an excess - in the event of a Streetcar being damaged
while in your care, you're normally responsible for the first £500 of damage (depending on your driving history and age). You can reduce
this excess on a per-trip basis for £9.50 per day, or on a monthly basis from just £3.95 per month.
No Congestion Charge
Despite their environmental benefits, Streetcars are not currently exempt from the Charge.
However, Streetcar will absorb all Congestion Charges accrued during your booking.
