Streetcar launches at 22 Workspace locations across London

Workspace have joined up with Streetcar (www.streetcar.co.uk) to bring a Pay as You Go Car service to Workspace properties across London.  Streetcar vehicles will be available for tenants to use anytime they need a car, once they have joined up to the Streetcar service.  Streetcar operates like a Car Pool for many different people and companies.  Vehicles can be booked for as little as 30 minutes and costs only £4.95 per hour including 30 miles worth of petrol and insurance. Cars are available 24/7 and can be booked on-line or on the phone.  Each Streetcar lives in a reserved bay on-site, so you will never have to worry about finding a parking space when you get back to your office.

All vehicles are VW Golfs and are un-branded, Streetcar valets the vehicles regularly and you let yourself into the vehicle using a smartcard so there are no queues or forms to fill in.  Availability can be checked at anytime on-line, and you can be in the car within 2 minutes of booking it.

If you may need to use a vehicle soon join up now.  The process takes a few days to set up, so if you wait until the day before you need the vehicle you may be disappointed.

Why should my company join up?

As a special offer tenants of Workspace properties are entitled to up to £200 of free usage to try the Streetcar service when you open a business account.  We will give your company £50 of free usage for each employee that joins the service by the end of March up to a maximum of £200.  Joining up is simple and easy, and can be cancelled at anytime.

What do I need to do to use the vehicles?

To use the vehicles your company will need to setup a business account with Streetcar. When your company becomes a member of Streetcar we will issue you with a membership number and PIN, which will enable you to book the cars on-line or over the phone.  The costs will automatically be billed back to your company account at the end of the month.

How do I Join Streetcar?

Just click on the link below and follow the instructions, when joining you should:

• Enter your name as normal
• Enter your work address in the address section
• Use your work email address
• Include all relevant phone numbers

After you have completed giving your details on-line one of our representatives will call you back to complete a conference call with the DVLA to prove you hold a valid driving license, we will then send you a smartcard in the post to your work address.

When you are speaking to the Streetcar rep remember to tell them you want the special offer for Workspace tenants.

A senior manager will have to complete a short authorisation form for each company which we will send to the first employee who joins up.
